VCSC Daily - Stocks sell-off as US bond yields rise - PLX, VCI, TLG
The VN-Index fell sharply on Wednesday, giving up 1.8%. Trading volume was light at just USD176mn, well below the daily average of the last year of USD242mn. US 10-year bond yields stayed above 3% and the dollar strengthened to help fuel a regional pullback. VNM (-3.9%) suffered its worst day since December, falling to a six-month low amid heavy foreign selling. Financials also weighed on the index, led by VCB (-2.9%), BID (-4.1%), VPB (-3.8%) and CTG (-2.5%).
