VCSC Daily - Stocks extend slump to 14-month low - PVS, SAB, TPB

The VN-Index tumbled to its lowest level since November 2017 after closing down 1.5% on Thursday. The index has dropped 17 of the last 20 trading days for an 8.4% pullback during that period. Banks led the sell-off, including BID (-4.5%), which was the top contributor to the day’s loss, along with CTG (-4.7%), TCB (-2.3%) and MBB (-4.4%). GAS (-2.4%) fell as the price of Brent crude oil slid to USD54/bbl in Asian trading today while HPG (-4.2%) hit a 13-month low and VRE (-3.8%)
