VCSC Daily - Markets start off week up on low liquidity
Foreign funds’ NAV up on average 16.2% in Q1 – A report released by LCF Rothschild showed that the NAV of 17 foreign funds invested in Vietnam’s equity market increased on average 16.2%. Meanwhile the VNIndex rose 26.6%. Two ETFs managed to outperform the benchmark; Van Eck Market Vectors Vietnam rose 28.9% and the FTSE Vietnam Index ETF rose 27.2%. The average discount to NAV for the 17 funds was 20.3%.
