Market steady as AGM season peaks. The VNI gained 4.08 points to close at 506.66 with 52m shares traded. The HNI closed up 0.6% at 61.36 with nearly 54m shares traded, a 72% jump in turnover, mostly due to 20m shares of SHB changing hands. Shares of the bank was up 5.8% as the bank revealed at its AGM held on Saturday, that it will try to settle bad debts owed by Vinashin by converting the debt to bonds.
