Investors sell on drop in Hanoi CPI. The VNI dropped 1% to close at 468.43 as trading volume continue to decline ahead of the upcoming long holiday. The HNI loss 1.3% to close at 57.61. Stocks came under pressure as reports showed Hanoi’s April CPI falling 0.15% month-on-month, with food and housing and construction materials prices falling most, signalling continued weakness in demand. Laggards outnumbered gainers nearly 3-to-1.
