Following declines in April’s trade figures (exports and imports dropped 14% YoY and 11.4% YoY respectively), Vietnam’s exports and imports continued to slump 15.3% YoY and 20.9% YoY to USD8.22bn and USD9.18bn from May 1 to May 15, respectively, resulting in a trade deficit of USD960mn.
